Cimarron is seekingFabrication Specialists to support a large aerospace and defense customer in Salt Lake City, UT. This position is supporting a 6-month contract.
This opportunity offers a competitive salary and the opportunity for additional cash-in-lieu of benefits.

Key Duties:

• Perform machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication/extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.
• Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
• Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components.
• Assemble, repair, modify, and install various power plants and drive trains.
• Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
• Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
• Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.
• Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
• Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
• Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility requirements, only U.S. Citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
• Experience with hand tools.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
